Oh uh I meant as new posts like this one, not as comments to the one masterpost? Sorry XD it just makes it easier to track, because new posts will show up on people's reading pages, instead of having to dig through the comments of an old post. Plus it's easier to find stuff, with tags and etc, without it getting buried, easier to track individual posts of interest, and posts have a comment limit (it's 10,000, but it exists) which would stop all conversations at once if the post hit it.
