Hah, things sure have changed since I stopped checking Fandom Secrets (which about about 6-7 years ago). I expected both of those topics to be brimming with angry disagreement as they are on Tumblr...and was pleasantly surprised to see them discussed civilly. It's definitely a case of DW being a better communication platform, but after being on Tumblr for so long, I'd forgotten what that was like. A real breath of fresh air.

I'm glad that you're having your faith in humanity restored. Part of the reason why I made this community was I really surprised by some people saying that they were reluctant to try SU because of what the fandom was like...on Tumblr. I've never actually seen Tumblr SU fandom outside of fanart, so I can only imagine, but from what I've seen on F!S, non-vitriolic discussions regarding SU is possible.

Lapis and Jasper's relationship was actually pretty cool if not intense in Chille Tid, so I can see the appeal of it. Can't wait for our favorite pair under the sea to surface up again... :)

There's definitely some good discussion out there on tumblr, but because of its platform, it gets messy really fast. I'm eternally thankful to you for making this community. :D

Likewise! I'm terribly invested in so many aspects of their relationship.
